Actually the default built-in game, "Mine Storm", is not 3-D or "first 
person", but the less exciting kind where you look down on your space ship in its 
2-D universe.
With the special goggles, you can do real 3D and color, but with just the 
bare Vectrex there are game ROM paks where you look out the window of your ship 
or whatever -- "Polar Rescue", etc.

I'm really impressed that MESS does the vector graphics.  That means they're 
simulating *analog* circuits and X-Y-Z driven CRTs.  Remains to be seen 
whether MESS is doing a literal emulation of the analog circuits, or just digitally 
emulating the *effects* of them.  What the heck, maybe I'll finally DL a 
version of MESS and see how it works, though I've been waiting for the bugs and 
misfeatures to settle out.
