I think my favorite band, Radiohead, is working on a new album, I think so
because they've "gone quiet." Few instagram posts, nothing new on their web
page's blog, etc. which usually means that they're locked in a studio
creating and recording music.

or maybe they've just retired.

I say all that to say that I realize that I've "gone quiet" too. Although
you haven't heard from me since my tour with my old roommate, I've been
insanely busy with all sorts of things. Last week my band and I opened the
Nightfall Music Series and debuted 6 new songs (which is insane, if you
think about it). And this week I’ll be performing at the same concert
series as a solo act. I’ll be opening for an artist named Kishi Bashi, and
he does a lot of stuff with loops, so will I. Of course, he won’t be
playing any Classic Rock or old time tunes, and even if he does, he won’t
be doing them at the same time, like me.

After that tho’ I’ll head across town to Granfalloon—a new, spacious coffee
shop on the southside of Chattanooga—to play a bunch of songs with a full
band. I’ll be joined by Hunter White on drums; Ron Eller on bass; and
Stephen Brehm on Acoustic and Electric guitars. I’ve played with all these
guys before in one capacity or another, and I’m excited for what they bring
to the music. Moreover, having a band with a full rhythm section for the
first time will let me finally reproduce tunes from my previous projects
properly. So you can expect hear deep cuts and rarities, as well as the
hits, and at least one Radiohead song.

C-ya out there.
