The problem is, they’ve broken backwards compatibility. All existing
content should be edited to remove references to .zip .mov and .foo
files unless they are already links. We also have to fix the firewalls
and the browsers and the email clients and the ‘smart’ copy/paste and
the archivers and on and on, just to have this pap:
.zip – the domain for people who are fast, efficient, and ready to move.
They also say autolinking text strings ending in .foo makes developers
more secure. This HAS be a troll inside google.
