[Coco] Glenside Picnic/Gathering/Outing Sept 23

We are going to West Dundee, Illinois, and we are going to go in small
groups and explore this town.

 

For example:

I may go for lunch somewhere with my wife, and then go to the arcade and
stay for 45 minutes. Then I may go to the candy store, then go for frozen
custard.  Then I could go for a walk along the very nice and long Fox River
- River Walk. Then I could go back the arcade. Then I can go for pizza with
the gang and go back to the arcade. And then I can call it a day.

 

Each person or small group may explore a different part of the town, but we
should all get together for pizza (or gluten-free-pizza).  We can catch up

I plan to just use discord for one day. We all have own favorite messaging
app, but if we can all get on the same page just for one day then that would
be good.

 

This is an amazing little town. You can park your car behind the Underground
Retrocade and walk everywhere else if you like (weather permitting).

 

Bring the whole family. Invite your vintage computer friends. Spread the
word far and wide.
