ahhh ... I was unaware that Ed was making the CoCoVGA's for Brian ... 

However, other folks are/were experiencing chip shortages.  For example: check out CoCoDV on ACs 8-Bit Zone: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gc_3TPBjFf4 It seems to be a great solution for CoCo's 1 & 2 to get HDMI output.
