Another thing different, (if I remember corectly) is that on the T1, the zero character has the strike through line, distinguishing it from the uppercase "O", whereas the older Cocos did not.

You will also notice that the uppercase letters have shifted up in each character cel (to make room for the lowercase descenders on the T1), which is why older games like Protectors II won’t display the little waving men properly.
