The Glenside clubs generosity is always second to none but paying for a US administered Covid test prior to re entry to Canada is the least of the complications.

The American government has mandated that all Canadians who seek entry to the US must be fully vaccinated with a JJ , Pfizer, or Madera.  They do not recognize Astrazenca   as being valid.  They also do not consider mixed vaccine doses as complete .  The vaccine shortage up here prompted the Canadian government to mix first and second doses and use Astazenca and as such any person who received 2 shots from different manufacturers are considered inadmissible to the United States

Lots of passion in these posts and I don't want to get off topic.

That said, assuming that travel is allowed and someone wants to cross
the border to attend CoCo events, but the costs to comply with
regulatory requirements becomes a showstopper, I'd ask those folks
discreetly contact myself. I'd like at an opportunity to find a way to
address that type of issue.

Life grows too short to miss opportunities to spend time face to face.
