To move your character around:

Either use the Joystick (press Ctrl+A to enable it), or hold Shift and use
the Arrow keys.


Also, the following comes from the PC demo's ReadMe.txt:   (No guarantees
they will work with CoCo version!)

--> Tell your character what to do by typing in commands like for example
when you're standing next to a tree:

    >look at tree
    You will recieve more information about the tree. When you want to take
something you see lying around, simply do so by typing:

    >take silver key

    You can also interact with other persons, for example:
    >give hammer to the old man

    >ask woman about trains

--> Here are some verbs, the game will understand:
    LOOK       OPEN       PULL
    TAKE       CLOSE      PUSH
    GIVE       TALK       MOVE
    SEARCH     ASK        SHOOT
    TOUCH      SMELL      USE
    ATTACK     READ       DESTROY
