My first modem was a RadioShack 300 baud DCM for my coco2‎

We lived in a very old house in the country and only had one telephone. The telephone was hard wired to the wall. I had to beg my parents to have Bell Canada install a phone jack with a long extension cable.   Even with that extension cable I still had to setup my coco on the kitchen table,  and use a little black and white TV , every time I wanted to go on GEnie. Or Delphi
