[Coco] Tano Dragon sound problem

Hi. I just turned my Tano on to play a few games. The sound‎ output is barely audible, even with the monitor speaker at max.   I tried connecting with both th RF and composite av cable.   There is no difference in the audio
I hooked tthe audio out to an external amp. This made it louder but it was also filled with noise

What should I be looking at?
