[Coco] Tano dragon repair?

I tried to run the audio out to a amplifier then out to the TV but it only amplified the muffled noise even more

 I am not familiar with the inner workings of the audio system, but given the symptom, I would put my bet on the audio amplifier, if it has one :-S. I am sorry that I can't elaborate. This is just a bit out of my scope. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will chime in. Salvador
