Cocofest is Chicago.
Chicago is cocofest
For me it's the ritual of getting there that is just as much fun as the fest itself
I stop at the same rest stops and the same roadside attractions every year
The feeling of seeing the Chicago skyline coming into view as I get closer and closer to the family reunion that is known as Chicago CoCoFEST

This is great news, Mike Rowen! If Tandy Assembly can be held in a location without any of its organizers, then, maybe its time to consider COCOFEST in ALTERNATING East/West LOCATIONS? (I had previously thought boots-on-the-ground would be a problem for that)
I bet Cloud9, Rick Adams and a number of Canadians would be up for a MINNEAPOLIS Cocofest, as an example.
Cheers!

People from all over North America attend CoCoFEST because they are connected and aware through the Internet. Several of us attend GCCC meetings over the Internet each month. Tandy Assembly takes place in Ohio, where none of the organizers live. So I think geography is less an obstacle than ever before.
