I use HDB-DOS and a Disto HARDDRIVE controller to run my HD setup
I dont have an EPROM with HDB-DOS on it for my controller, so I have been loading HDB-DOS from floppy and launching it .
I type
LOADM "HDBDOS.BIN" <ENTER>
EXEC <ENTER>
This works fine but I thought it would be slicker to just be able to type
DOS <ENTER>
SInce typing 'DOS' tells the computer to read track 34 of disk 0 ; I just added the ' LOADM "HDBDOS.BIN":EXEC' to that track of the floppy disk. Now when I type 'DOS' the computer reads track 34 and launches HDBDOS.
This does not really save much time but does look a bit slicker
