I would scan at 300dpi. Give me access to the raw scans and I can clean
them up.

Or my offer... Ideally, the community would chip in and pay you to ship a
bunch of issues to me. I'll scan them the right way, without damaging them
and then send them back. Community benefits. You can trust me not to run
off to Antarctica with them. We need to perserve stuff like this. If Jason
were to break into that cabin and knife those issues, it would be a
tremendous lost to our history.
