So, are we up to the challenge to break past the 2 meg barrier on the CoCo3? It's kind of like our ' Mount Everest '. Once it's been done then we could push the capabilities of our beloved CoCo3's even more.
I'm looking forward to the challenge myself.

Dave, to give an example, MShell an open ANY number of blocks to use for it's own buffers. I have actually crashed it at 2meg reading a HUGE PC directory into memory.
Another use would be a text editor with 7.5 meg of buffer space (here comes the "who would edit a file that large?" comments)... a graphics editor working with several graphics screens (frame animation?)... sprite handler with 7.5 meg of sprite memory for animation (100 level games anyone?). The possibilities are endless.
Also, if Ed enhances his GIME project with new graphics modes, we may need the memory for the larger screen resolution, just like the Coco3FPGA.
