Most kids can't even sign there name to a document anymore as most schools have discontinued the study of cursive writing

I remember those, but its been nearly 70 years since I set foot in a
classroom except as the teacher. They were, in the earlier years, even
teaching phonics, the most educational subject there was. And it was
discontinued the year after I took it. Quitting teaching that was the
biggest mistake the school systems ever perpetrated on our children.
