I have had great success converting JPEG's to GIF's on my PC and then viewing them on a Coco3

Here is an example of a GIF to GIF using Microsoft Paint and a Coco3 GIF ‎viewer.
This was a GIF but works equally as well on a converted JPEG as long as the color depth is left at 128 or less
