With respect to the original subject, I would recommend to use a lossless target format like .png instead of JPEG. CoCo pictures are usually too "quantized" with respect to resolution and color depth, so chosing JPEG would add artefact "smearing" to the pictures which would makes it complicated to bring them back 1:1 to the CoCo.
