FWI. I tried 2 different HD docks in my fd502 case. The nicer one with the flap was actually no good as it interfered with the bottom drive. The less fancy open dock fit perfectly

I have a disto 4in1 and a SCSI HD on another coco3. The speed difference between the scsi setup and IDE setup are night and day. The superiDE is very fast
