The original was the 3022 (not very reliable) , then the 3029(i use this one with out any problems), then fd500,fd501(the best because it uses gold connectors instead of tin), and the newest fd502
Also a lot of third part controllers. I have a disto, Harddrive Specialist, and j&m, but there are some others

Thanks for the info and one thing I will need to get is the Floppy Conntroller but I think there were 4 types which one is better of the 4?

It will work fine. But, it either needs a Model I floppy cable with the pulled pins, because all 4 drive positions are jumpered. Or, you need to open up the drive and remove the jumpers for the drive positions other than the one you want it to be.
