That's awesome Steve. 230MB is fine by me ... but if anyone wanted to further refine it and shrink it down, they would be welcome to do so after this one is made public.

The ultimate goal is to get it on www.colorcomputerarchive.com (the defacto archival site for the CoCo) ... and then a back-up could be placed on archive.org. OR I can provide a temporary FTP site and make sure it gets on those two sites.

Thanks again, man! I look forward to reading it and trying out the MLBASIC 2.0 compiler.

I have plans at playing w/ it and the Cer-Comp CBASIC III compiler and making some tutorials and a blog comparing the two.

IF either of these, or both, are fairly useful, then I have a plan of disassembling and doing one of two things or both:

  1) bundle the code w/ a dedicated emulator (to run on a modern computer)
  2) port the code to C (to run on a modern computer)

And then finally, at a later date, create a re-implementation that takes the best of both these + whatever extra features I could come up w/ that runs on a modern computer for doing development ...
