[Coco] CoCo I 26-3004A and "fix"

Hi,
In preparation to attempt the CoCo I composite output circuit, I opened the CoCo 1 I recently purchased (26-3004A, 64K) and found it has a “patch” or “fix” in the motherboard.

Just curious about what this is for. Has anyone seen something like this?

It seems I’ll need to relocate this fix if I want to play with the 1372
