this is a valuable roadmap for me, Bill.  Thanks.
I have 3 identicle maxtore 340M drived (backup, backup), but my boot
dasks that I ahd at the FEST, didn't (boot, that is)
very frustrating.
after the dust settles, I will be setting the system back up, here, at
home and either (A) rebuilding the boots from scratch, or (B) build the
boot for a CoCoSDC setup with the Disto 4IN1 to get the data off the
Maxtors.

I havent played with boot building in a long time because they
worked....now?  Plus working withe a new device, the CoCoSDC....seems
like double jepardy moment....LOL
