Carlos,

That’s a fairly common issue with CoCo2’s.  There is an issue with the artifacting circuit,
and will affect both RF modulator output as well as composite mods.

The capacitor fix detailed on that page is a “quick fix” but after fixing several of these, I tend
to think it’s usually something that degrades in the 555 timer chip itself over time.  

I’d replace that first.
