That is a very interesting question.  I have the Green version in book form and both versions in pdf form.  I too would like to know the answer to this question.

Does anyone know what the differences are between the Black cover with
6809 in green, vs the Yellow cover with 6809 in black?

Both are printed in the same year but have different ISBNs.
I couldn't find any "edition" information.
