The versions of the DE1 Control Panel that I have (am aware of):

V1.00        2005     27-SEP-06   1,183,744 bytes   From CD originally shipped with board (came with source for fpga side)

V1.00        2005     17-OCT-06   1,247,744 bytes   From CDV08 different build to file above.

V2.0.0       2013     22-JAN-13   15,266,816 bytes  

V2.0.1       2013     02-APR-13   15,266,816 bytes  

V2.0.2       2014     12-MAR-14   15,266,816 bytes  

V2.1.0       2015     25-DEC-15   15,289,856 bytes  Current version on Terasic site

 

That’s a big gap between 2006 and 2013, so there could well be some other versions out there in the wild?

 

A very early board I have dated Week 38 of 2006 (blue keyswitches) will *not* work with anything but V1.00.
