[Coco] Confused process to join the CoCoFPGA Yahoo group.

If I understand correctly, you're now in and able to access files and post to the CoCo FPGA group. If so, congrats! Good that you resolved this issue.
I recall requesting to join and waiting for a day or two before I was accepted., although this was years ago and I was already a member of Yahoo.
If receiving email from the groups gets annoying, you can configure it so that no emails are sent to your email account, In that case, you'll have to login to your Yahoo account and visit the group's page, but I don't find this cumbersome, compared to the management I have to do with the group's emails. This is really a user preference. Salvador

When you sign up, select the option “I’d rather use my own email address”.
I used the same email address I use on this list. That allowed me to create a yahoo account. I then went to the CoCo3FPGA group and clicked join and filled out the request form to join. Soon after my message I posted here I was approved and I am now getting mail from that list to the same address as this list and I can see and d/l from the files section.

yes same problem, Yahoo is hell to the point where you finally loose any
interest in the Coco
tried to join CoCoFPGA group at least 5 times...
always blocked by yahoo
