How would I use a 12v wall adapter? Would I need to use the +5v.?

Molex power connect for IDE drives on computer:
2 black wires are ground
red wire is +5v
yellow wire is +12v
Perhaps the drives only use the 12v? I never investigated that.
perhaps that will help a bit.

P.S. sorry Camillus.
