I've been playing with John Strong's sound device, and am hooking an RS232 interface to it so I can hook it to the CoCo's Serial I/O port and send control bytes to it via PRINT#-2 (or BASIC09). The end result is a cheesy way to have multi voice music, even in BASIC, with no cartridge.

I think I fried one of my chips last night, so my experimenting has halted, but as soon as I fix it, I'll post a demo.
