[Coco] Space Invaders - Translated from Intel 8080 to Motorola 6809 for the CoCo 3

This is cool as heck! It’s amazing this was done not once but twice!!

I tried both yours Glen and also Marks using MAME w/ the rotate feature. –rol. They both seem to work almost identically from what I experienced. The game-play seems faithfully identical to the original.

Brought back memories from when I was in either the 10th or 11th grade. Some friends and I would play this almost every day at a local “barzinho” that had a pinball machine, a pool table, and a space invaders game.

Good job releasing your code and the 8080 -> 6809 converter code Glen.

Rotating the game, adding sound, and adding color, is going to be a bit of a challenge still. But looks like the heavy-lifting is done. Good luck to whomever tackles that. I would like to, but that would be pretty far down the road.

I did this as a learning experience so it’s all good, I also supplied all my source code so if someone else wants to learn how to do this for similar hardware or just to learn from they can look through my code and maybe use the ‘C’ program to help translate 8080 or Z80 assembly to 6809 for other games.
