Hi. I had a similar dillema. This is what I did

My one Fd502 only had a single drive so I used a 3 1/2 720k sony as drive 1 in the empty slot above drive 0. This setup works great on my coco3

I had another drive with just one working 5 1/4 so pulled out the broken drive 1 and put In an IDE hard drive. Now the case has a physical and hard drive I use this setup with a Glenside IDE on my coco2. I have both floppy ribbon cable and IDE ribbon cable on top of each other coming out of the back of the enclosure. The power from the dead drive is now used with the ide hard drive. The fd controller has hdb dos in it and is plugged into the glenside's header.

I just thought these ideas would help you if u see different drives other than the ones you are looking for

CB,

I'm looking for the D502 drives. If this is what you have, I'm open to
what you suggest.

Thanks
John.
