There is a jumper on the Glenside IDE for $FF70 or $FF50. You must switch it for an MPI

Subject: [Coco] Glenside IDE + Multi-Pak + HDB-DOS
The HDB-DOS source code states:> * Fixed IDE problems with Maxtor 7540AV drive related BGP 02/09/24> * to timing -- note that the Glenside IDE controller> * does NOT work with an MPI using this current> * version of HDB-DOS. It may seem to work, but there> * are data corruption issues when READing.> Is this simply because HDB-DOS assumes that the Glenside IDE card base address is $FF70, which causes a conflict with the Multi-Pak slot select register at $FF7F? Will HDB-DOS work with a Glenside IDE card in a Multi-Pak if the Glenside card is jumpered for a base address of $FF50 and HDB-DOS is patched accordingly?-- Mark J.
