You can always burn a new ADOS (it's now freely available), but yes, HDBDOS is pretty good as far as compatability, but unless you're using DriveWire or an HD, it's really overkill. HDBDOS is geared mainly for hard drives or DriveWire Virtual hard drives (VHDs). There's versions of HDBDOS for various SCSI (TC^3, Kenton etc) & IDE (standard IDE drives such as SuperIDE & Gleside IDE) HDs and for DriveWire. The RSDOS floppy portion of HDBDOS is basically just RSDOS with about 1% compatability loss.

Subject: [Coco] Sardis controller
I have a Sardis controller that needs a new rom. Would HDBDos work as a replacement dos. My old rom was ADOS 3, and it no longer works. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone.-- Coco mailing listCoco at maltedmedia.comhttps://pairlist5.pair.net/mailman/listinfo/coco
