Thanks Leslie,
I am looking at getting a DE1 with the analog board, but since I have been out of touch with the Color Computer 3 FPGA group, I don't know whether I can make due with an unmodified DE1 or whether I need a modified DE1 that uses the "old" RAM chip. Regards, Salvador

No reason at all that the Analog board (Ed or Gary version) will not work on the DE2.
(or a DE0 or DE0_CV for that matter).
Just waiting for Gary to finalise a few things, and do an official V4 source release
before releasing any ports.
There are quite a few different source combinations at the moment:
OLD/NEW SRAMs, 2 different Analog boards, etc.
Cheers,
Leslie

Yes. The DE2 boards have I/O connectors that are 100% compatible with
the analog expansion board. At this point I have not heard of anyone
who has yet used the analog board on a DE2. If you want to find out
more come on over to the CoCo3FPGA group and ask either Gary or Leslie
about this. I believe Gary has a DE2 and since he is the author of
CoCo3FPGA he might be able to shed a little more light on the subject.
Leslie has ported Gary's code to the DE2 but the last time I heard any
information about the port it was before the analog board was available.
