Ok I just got home and I tried that.
Loaded vcc2.01 and drivewire4 hit (5) boot in to nitros9
I did (list startup>/p) and it worked just wanted to make sure it printed before I go on
I hit home 4 times to the correct window
And typed (cd apps) and /dd/apps displays
So I typed (desk) deskmate shows up date and time hit (break) goto (*menu) change printer back to (/p)
Exit out of that and went to my folder 2 opened up a document went to file and print and it just hangs there curser blinking but no mouse movement or key board entry, I go hit home to another window and still (list startup >/P) and it works but I have to hard rest to get out of deskmate

Richard, in Deskmate leave the /p alone, you do not need to add the >, that is a cmd line redirect. Deskmate does this on it's own as do all programs that allow printing. As long as you have the dw4 drivers and /p, programs will use it properly, they do not need changing. Only do this when using the cmdline such as "list" or "dir".
