​Christopher, yes you can use real floppy, DW, and SDC with NitrOS-9.  You
just need the drivers loaded for all the devices you want and it should
work without issue.  I have used NitrOS-9 with DW, SDC, and real floppy
without any issues.

As far as HDBDOS goes, you would actually be better off using the SDCDOS
that comes in the SDC.  As it supports DW, SDC, and real floppy all in
one.  I have copied floppies from real floppy to a SDC image and from real
floppy to DW disk image all from SDCDOS.

Drive 2 and 3 in SDCDOS is normally used for the DW connections.

If you have the right pokes in place you can even use drive 2 and 3 as the
back sides of the SDC images that are mounted in SDC drive 0 or SDC drive
1.​
