That's what I was thinking Robert. You can do it in the new VCC and it won't even complain about the roms. It loads them as long as the filename is correct.
Though, VCC will only test results on a Coco3.

Why bother doing these tests on real hardware? You should be able to do it with an emulator such as MESS much more easily.
