Oh, I don't know.  I'd hate to have someone withhold a good idea from 
me  just because of protocol.

I suppose it's all in how you present it.  A heap of praise for doing 
something, followed by a concise suggestion, ended with another dose of 
praise for the effort, seems a good approach.
