I recall having an electronics instructor in college, his name was Mr. Taraleshkov. Saying that he was an incredible teacher is an understatement; however, a great deal of value came from his Easy Fridays when he would abandon electronic topics and he would tell us a story about his life in the Soviet Union and his imprisonment. Personally, I got so much value out of his stories that I could say that he prepared me well in both electronics and life.
I sometimes get that vibe from Gene's stories too. Salvador
