Yes.  But since Gary has done it on the CoCo3FPGA, perhaps his code can be adapted,
so that one wouldn’t have to start from scratch.

I did start some groundwork on the hardware a while ago partially planning a module with
2MB of RAM and VGA for video output.  These were the most suitable and affordable socket
adapters I could find at $14 ea, I purchased 10 to start development.

The other socket adapters I could find were much more complicated, bulky, and expensive.
