Lee, after Phil verifies you, you will see much more content.
It's just like the old BBS's. You don't see the real stuff until you're "OKed" by the SysOp :-)

This keeps the spammers and hackers at bay.

Well, it sure runs a lot faster then when I use to connect via 300 baud!I created a user on the BBS, but I didn't see any content other then the FAQ and questionnaires. Do you need a different login for the web page and BBS?--- -- - -www.8BitCoder.com> On Apr 6, 2016, at 9:14 PM, Interenet Newsgroups <ptaylor2446 at gmail.com> wrote:> > Bill> > Sorry, I had to reboot the computer system the other day and I forgot to bring up the ftelnet application. It's running now so you should be able to access the bbs system. Since this is a new windows install, I may not have everything set correctly yet, but I've had no problems with other pages.> Is the BBS telnet accessable? If so, I should be able to connect with my Coco or emulator as well (via Drivewire4).> > > > > > > Bill Pierce> "Charlie stole the handle, and the train it won't stop going, no way to slow down!" - Ian Anderson - Jethro Tull> > > > My Music from the Tandy/Radio Shack Color Computer 2 & 3> https://sites.google.com/site/dabarnstudio/> Co-Contributor, Co-Editor for CocoPedia> http://www.cocopedia.com/wiki/index.php/Main_Page> Global Moderator for TRS-80/Tandy Color Computer Forums> http://www.tandycoco.com/forum/> > E-Mail: ooogalapasooo at aol.com> > > > > > > -----Original Message-----> From: Interenet Newsgroups <ptaylor2446 at gmail.com>> To: coco <coco at maltedmedia.com>> Sent: Sun, Apr 3, 2016 7:58 pm> Subject: Re: [Coco] Supporting the Trs-80 Color Computer on the bbs systems> > MarkMy BBS site has ben up for past several months and it included on the BBS List site on the internet. I include supports for the Trs-80 Color Computer, Commodore 64/128, Amiga, OS2, FreeBsd, Linux, Macintosh and Microsoft Windows. Support is offered using message base and a download sections. II Right now I have over 1,000's files for the Trs-80 Color Computer.Since there is only a few newsgroups left that support the Trs-80 Color Computer I would like to download and archive the message posted in this list in to a database on my bbs system wildcat.dynu.com. I believe that supporting the Coco community is to make a one stop shop where the users can access a large variety of messages base bases and files. To help prevent spam I have established a user registration and validation process which has to be approved by me before the users are given full access to the system. Of course each individual user posting messages in this mail list would have to comply and follow your rules. My bbs system can be access http://wildcat.dynu.com or by telneting to wildcat.dynu.com 2300.Phil Taylor"Mark McDougall" wrote in message news:5701A068.4040009 at iinet.net.au...On 4/04/2016 5:30 AM, Stephen Batson via Coco wrote:> You give no info on where the group is or how to get to it.>> On Apr 3, 2016, at 11:23 AM, Interenet Newsgroups> <ptaylor2446 at gmail.com> wrote:>> My intent is to make a site...Pretty clear it hasn't been done yet.Regards,-- | Mark McDougall | "Electrical Engineers do it| <http://members.iinet.net.au/~msmcdoug> | with less resistance!"-- Coco mailing listCoco at maltedmedia.comhttps://pairlist5.pair.net/mailman/listinfo/coco -- Coco mailing listCoco at maltedmedia.comhttps://pairlist5.pair.net/mailman/listinfo/coco> > -- > Coco mailing list> Coco at maltedmedia.com> https://pairlist5.pair.net/mailman/listinfo/coco > > > -- > Coco mailing list> Coco at maltedmedia.com> https://pairlist5.pair.net/mailman/listinfo/coco-- Coco mailing listCoco at maltedmedia.comhttps://pairlist5.pair.net/mailman/listinfo/coco
