Hello,
I just thought I should share with all of the Tano / Dragon user here this
project I have just published on the WorldOfDragon web:
http://archive.worldofdragon.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=5363
In short it is an extension that sits from $E000 on and adds some new
commands to the DOS-Plus4.9 or DOSPlus5.0
The main goal was to be able to work with the VDK files (180k discs) as if
they were floppies. Done!
As I bought a CoCo-SDC for my CoCo3, I wanted to use it with my Dragon64
having the same possibilities I had with the CoCo.
Got it, too!
I would like to thank some people that has helped me along the project
developpment. Thanks a bunch to all of them!!
- Darren Atkinson, for being so kind to give me vital information about the
comms protocol as well as sending me some specialised
routines to detect hardware components.
- Ken H, has contributed with great ideas in the analisys/brainstorming
phases and has been a hard beta-tester.
- Ciaran Anscomb (Sixxie) for having published his works on SDC-DOS for
Dragon and the DosPlus49 unassembled and commented.
- Tormod Volden, he convinced me to adapt DW4 and I learned quite a lot from
him while programming my firts dweebs
cheers
