[Coco] How to import source code into NitrOS-9?

Hi Barry,
Thanks very much for trying to help.
My system is a CoCo3FPGA. My problem is that I’m a total newbie to NitrOS-9. This all comes about because up until I got my CoCo3FPGA, the 80 column screen in NitrOS-9 was barely readable for me. For me, it turned out to be far less expensive to go with the CoCo3FPGA, than invest more money in more video adapters in the hope of getting a readable 80 column screen. It’s a long story…
Anyway, my CoCo3FPGA has 512K RAM, and MFREE shows 384K available, plus a couple of other 8K chunks. So, I do not think that I am running out of memory, even though that is the error code I am getting.
My /DD is a Drivewire disk image that Gary Becker has provided for booting NitrOS-9. All my disks are on Drivewire.
The two files I have been trying out are only 2K and 13K, so I did not expect to run out of memory doing the transfer.

Is it a DriveWire drive, a physical floppy, etc? It is odd that /dd does not work because it's memory should already be allocated. The smap command may give you some insight into what is happening, but you may need to load it before trying to access drivewire. If this is the issue then removing some modules from your os9boot file might fix it, or I may be able to send you a boot image that will work. What device do you boot from?
