I am glad that you got it working. I too felt bad because I was also one of those that encouraged the update. I typically read about Windows 10 and I had not encountered anything like what you described. Salvador

Yeah, Win 10 seems to be working fine now, after the reboot, so no need torevert to 8.1.  I sure was in horrible shape before that, though.Something I should have seen as a bad omen:  Initially, it asked me if Iwanted to upgrade to Win 10 now or later, and I selected Later.
