[Coco] Burning ROM question

Before I ask, let me first say that yes yes yes I'm aware I can just use an adapter and a modern DIP28 EPROM IC. That isn't the point of what I'm about to ask...

My burner only accepts DIP28 EPROMS. Can I use something like Cloud9's 24-to-28 ROM adapter (or similar product) to burn one of my NOS 68766 EPROMs? Or do I have to use a burner that natively accepts DIP24s?
