Last one of these calls I got I said:
Me: I'm sorry, I'm sort of busy right now, let me get your name and number so I can call you back, and can you give me an address to mail a check to so I can pay for your service.
Technician: We take credit cards, I can take one over the phone.
Me: I don't have a credit card, I don't mind waiting till you receive a check though, I don't use my computer much.
Technician: Ok, you can mail a check to (gives address in India), and you can call me back at (gives phone number).
Me: Great, let me make sure I got that right, it's …
Technician: Yes, that is correct.
Me: Ok, I have to hang up now, I need to give this information to the US justice department. Have a nice day!
Technician: <Click!> <Dial tone>
