Hi Joe,
Copying and pasting code in Hyperterminal is exactly how I saved and loaded programs into my Breadboarded 6 Chip 6809 Computer when I first built it!  It makes you very appreciative of any type of storage.  Hummm, I wonder which type of storage we should use first?

You'd have to type them in with the first iteration anyway: The serial port was for connecting your console device. Unless of course you were using a terminal program in a GUI and could cut/paste code to and from the SBC every time.
