In practice, on 4 usb keyboard I have here, only one is working in usb as well as in ps/2
And I know that many friends had problem trying to use a usb, ps/2 keyboard in ps/2 mode

That’s why I'm working on a project to connect a usb keyboard to several machines of the eighties
The other reason is that international keyboards are rarely supported in adapter for old machines

I have a usb interface for Apple IIe, no support of international keyboards
Buggy software "coughing" when a series of keys are typed too fast
Not working with apple keyboards...

(that's the main reason why I started this project)

Did you know that nearly all USB keyboards are in fact glorified PS/2 keyboards? http://quinndunki.com/blondihacks/?p=1347
