This is a serious problem for museums preserving 20th century art that used
plastic -- not only discoloration, but the work getting sticky, deteriorating
into untouchable fragility, or getting unbearably stinky (to the nose, not the
aesthetics). So be glad the only thing that's happening to the case is
discoloration!
