A few years ago there was a guy with a website selling a "kit" for about $15 to upgrade the multipak. It had a chip, some wire, and (I thought) some vague instructions. I ordered it and was going to do it but have lost the instructions, and since got an old Grey multi-pak.

</div>Thanks Barry. I read somewhere there was a kit a while back that
consisted of a satellite board, 74LS10 and some other miscellaneous parts.
Unfortunately that site is no longer exists. I already ordered a 74LS10
and will just piggyback onto another 74LS10 in the MPI. I hate doing that
because its not clean, but I don't have a tiny perf board. I am still
undecided whether to follow the method on CoCopedia or Marty Goodman's
method in the October 1991 (page 52) issue of Rainbow magazine. They are
slightly different.
